PC Latter and PC Cartwright have continued to be busy across Rural Tunbridge Wells.
We have received reports of nuisance vehicles in and around the Goudhurst area. If you witness any anti-social driving, please try to obtain vehicle registration numbers and report incidents to us. Reports can be made online via the Kent Police website or by calling 101. Always call 999 if the incident is ongoing or poses an immediate risk to public safety.
Due to the recent adverse weather, we have received numerous reports of fallen trees and have attended several road traffic collisions across the area. Please remain vigilant when travelling, allow extra time for journeys, and drive to the conditions.
As Halloween is now here, please remember to be respectful when trick-or-treating. Only visit properties that are clearly displaying Halloween decorations or pumpkins, as an indication they are happy to participate. Not everyone wishes to take part, and respecting this helps ensure everyone enjoys the occasion safely.
We will be holding a drop-in session in Horsmonden on Saturday 14 November. This is a great opportunity to meet your local officers, discuss any concerns, and receive crime prevention advice.
We will also be attending the Goudhurst Autumn Fair on the same morning and look forward to seeing many of you there.
And a reminder that the Tunbridge Wells Neighbourhood Policing Team will be hosting a 5K run on 6 November in Rusthall, Tunbridge Wells. The event is aimed at encouraging women to run alongside local police officers during the darker winter months, helping to build confidence, promote safety, and strengthen community connections.
Stay safe and thank you for your continued support.
As always, please contact us with any issue you would like us to target or look into. Your input means we can concentrate on the matters that are most important to you.
Thanks Lauren and Kady | ||
